The Whistler Excellence Awards are our chance to celebrate Whistler's innovators, trailblazers and community cultivators! Whistler's business and community awards build brands and honour local legends.

About the Event
Whistler Chamber's premier event of the year returns on Thursday, October 17, at The Fairmont Chateau Whistler.

This highly anticipated event hosts over 400 attendees in celebration of Whistler's innovators, trailblazers and community cultivators!

Hosted by the Whistler Chamber in partnership with Whistler Community Foundation, and AWARE and presented by BlueShore Financial each year, the evening is dedicated to honouring excellence in the areas of service, innovation, sustainability, outstanding leadership in the arts, business and community service.

But this night is not just about recognizing the finalists and winners it's about embracing the unique talents of Whistler's business community as a whole. So, dress to impress in your best & brightest, gather with fellow luminaries and step into an alluring neon wonderland, celebrating and illuminating the remarkable achievements of local businesses that drive our community forward into the future!

Get ready for an electrifying evening at this year's Whistler Excellence Awards, as Rebecca and Ira from Laugh Out LIVE take the stage! Double the entertainment and double the fun, they'll guide us through the night with their infectious energy and side-splitting humor. Not only will they emcee the awards, but they?ll also treat you to a mini-comedy show that?ll have you laughing all the way to the final celebration of the night. This is a night you won?t want to miss?come for the awards, stay for the laughter, and make memories that will last a lifetime!

Meet our party starter: DJ Foxy Moron

We are absolutely thrilled to announce the official dance party, celebration starter for this year?s Excellence awards, none other than the incredibly talented DJ Foxy Moron! 6 X Voted "Whistler's Favourite DJ" by the readers of Pique Newsmagazine, she has been a regular at Bass Coast & Shambhala for many years and more recently at Paradise Music Festival, Song&Surf, Rifflandia, & Wicked Woods. She has a love for 45s and mixing genres and we can?t wait to dance the night away to her tunes in celebration of the remarkable achievements of all the local individuals and businesses that drive our community forward into the future!

This year's theme Neon Nights: Illuminating Whistler's Excellence combines the vibrant energy of neon with the elegance and fun of a gala, celebrating the exceptional luminescence of Whistler's business community.

A dynamic and vibrant celebration of Whistler's brightest businesses, this theme merges the electric allure of neon with an elegant and fun atmosphere, highlighting the innovation, creativity, and excellence that light up Whistler's business community.

Dress Code
Guests are encouraged to dress in chic and sophisticated attire with a touch (or a whole lot) of neon or brightly coloured accents. Think classic suits with neon accessories (ties, shirt, shoes, cuff links, socks etc.) bold statement jewelry and headpieces, or sleek outfits in bright colors like hot pink, electric blue, bright purple, neon green, and candescent yellow.

PLUS, those guests who really want to embrace the theme and neon vibe will have a chance to win the coveted 'Best Dressed' prize! A little or a lot, let's light up the night in style!

Please note that The Chamber does not sell event tickets at the door. Pre-registration is required. Our online registration system accepts VISA and MasterCard. Any photos or videos taken by the Whistler Chamber of Commerce, and/or its contractors and vendors may be used for promotions and marketing purposes following this event. Payment is non-refundable for cancellations made on, or after Thursday, October 3, 2024, or non attendance on the day.
