Always one of our most popular business networking lunches of the year, this annual holiday tradition returns to kick off the festive season this year with a classic festive lunch and all the favourite fixings!

Join us on Friday, December 6, to celebrate the start of winter with Whistler’s business community at one of the year's most popular networking events. This festive lunch brings together Whistler Chamber, Whistler Blackcomb's Chief Operating Officer, Belinda Trembath, and Invictus Games 2025 Chief Operating Officer, Robyn McVicker for a cozy fireside chat, sharing essential updates and what to look forward to for the upcoming season.

Guest Speakers
Belinda Trembath, Chief Operating Officer, Whistler Blackcomb

With more than 30 years of experience in the ski industry and mountain operations, Belinda was Chair of the Australian Ski Areas Association since 2018. Born and raised in Australia, she began skiing at age six, and started her career as a ski instructor. In 2006, Trembath was appointed Vice President & General Manager of Mt. Hotham in the Australian state of Victoria. Starting in 2019, she also provided oversight for Falls Creek, which has the largest skiable area in Victoria. In 2022, she was named Vice President & General Manager of Perisher, the role she held until moving across the world to the role of Chief Operating Officer at Whistler Blackcomb. Trembath played a key leadership role in helping Perisher, Falls Creek, and Mt. Hotham successfully navigate through the pandemic and borders reopening. She has also been a proactive member of a range of tourism and government advisory boards throughout her career.

Robyn McVicker, Chief Operating Officer, Invictus Games 2025

As a purpose-driven visionary leader, Robyn McVicker has led operations, communications and marketing at marquee organizations including Invictus Games 2025 and Vancouver International Airport (YVR).

In 2022, Robyn took on the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to lead the Invictus Games – supporting serving and retired military members. The first winter Invictus Games will deliver 11 sports, 6 venues, world class Opening and Closing ceremonies and live TV broadcast.

Robyn built YVR's award winning Marketing & Communications team in a period of exponential growth. She transitioned to VP Operations and led the team through a period of significant demand as YVR pursued its goal of the Transpacific Hub. She became VP Passenger Journey and led the response to COVID-19 with innovative processes and agile operational transformation. YVR experienced a smooth recovery as travel surged back to pre-pandemic levels.

Robyn is a trusted media spokesperson and a key voice at national and international tables.

The Whistler Chamber of Commerce AGM will be held December 6, 2024 at 11am at The Four Seasons Resort Whistler.
