Description
Have you ever tried to implement a much needed change only to be met with blank stares and crossed arms? How confident are you in your ability to successfully lead your team through unexpected changes or disruptions?
When change occurs, it's not just the organization that needs to change, but the people within it. While people generally want their situation to improve, they don't necessarily want the pain or inconvenience of changing their own behavior or habits. So, how can managers create and maintain the motivation for change?
In this session, attendees will learn:
- How to manage change effectively to mitigate negative consequences and improve outcomes
- The difference between the role of a leader and manager in communicating and executing change management initiatives.
- How to use the ADKAR framework as an individual change communication tool
- Key persuasion tactics that can be applied to facilitate change.
Take your leadership and management skills to the next level - spaces are limited, so get in quick!
About the facillitator: Andrea Spiegel
Prior to joining Bellrock, Andrea worked in operations management roles in a variety of professional environments and has worked with multiple start-ups to scale their businesses. She earned her Bachelor of Arts (Communication Studies) from the University of Calgary, and serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Mission Possible, a Vancouver charity on the Downtown Eastside dedicated to transforming lives through meaningful work. When she’s not working, you can find Andrea in the mountains around Squamish, hiking, camping, or skiing.
