Description
Level Up Your Public Speaking—And Have a Blast Doing It!
What if improving your public speaking skills could be fun, energizing, and even a little hilarious? The Whistler Chamber is teaming up with Laugh Out LIVE!, Whistler’s own improv and comedy pros, to bring you a one-of-a-kind 5-week intensive workshop designed to boost your confidence, communication, and presence—on the sales floor, in meetings, and beyond.
Through improv-based techniques, you'll practice thinking on your feet, engaging any audience, and stepping outside your comfort zone in a supportive, playful environment. Whether you're looking to level up your leadership skills, ace your next pitch, or simply feel more at ease in the spotlight, this workshop will give you the tools (and the laughs) to get there.
Key takeaways:
- Speak with Presence & Charisma – Deliver engaging, entertaining, and memorable presentations while mastering vocal projection, warm-ups, and physical presence for maximum impact.
- Stay Composed & Think on Your Feet – Handle spontaneous Q&As, troubleshooting, and unexpected interactions with confidence. Develop resilience and learn to recover gracefully from unplanned events
- Manage Nerves & Step Outside Your Comfort Zone – Manage self-doubt, limiting beliefs, and stage fright through playful exercises. Get comfortable being seen and embrace vulnerability all in service of authentic communication.
- Engage & Connect with Your Audience – Build trust and captivate listeners by developing a personable, engaging presence. Align body language and non-verbal cues with your message for stronger impact.
- Present as a Team & Collaborate – Work seamlessly with others, whether co-presenting, pitching, or networking, to create dynamic and effective communication.
This workshop is designed for both seasoned presenters and those who feel nervous at the mere thought of public speaking – from all departments and levels of leadership! You’ll leave each session with practical tools, renewed confidence, and a whole lot of laughs along the way.
Whether you're a business owner, contractor, employer, or employee, you’ll leave with a stronger presence, greater confidence, and practical tools to make every interaction more impactful.
To ensure you get the most out of every session, only 18 spaces are available - reserve your today!
