How effective are you as a leader? Are you performing all the key roles that a leader needs to engage in for maximum success for your organization? Are your employees inspired to collaborate with each other to consistently deliver excellent performance? Are you truly making an impact and delivering results?
In highly-competitive and demanding environments (such as in Whistler), as a leader you face an incredible juggling act. You need to focus on growth, innovation and rapid change while at the same time retain a sense of order and stability; you are expected to drive hard to achieve stretch-goals and steadily improve performance but also ensure that the morale, motivation and engagement of your employees stay high. This challenge becomes even more crucial when you are trying to harness the energy, creativity and dedication of a mobile, young and, often, temporary workforce that make up the ranks of most service-based organizations. In this workshop, not only will you learn how to identify the key roles and competencies you need to engage in to be an impactful leader who consistently delivers results, but you will also understand the key steps for establishing a culture of trust in your organization to inspire employees to excel and collaborate with each other for optimal effectiveness.
Key takeaways:
- Get to know the key roles and competencies of a leader
- Understand your own leadership profile (strengths and weaknesses)
- Recognize when/how to adapt your leadership style for greater impact
- Learn how to build trust within your team/organization for excellent performance
