(Net)working it - Confessions of a Super-Connector
Make meaningful connections and be more than a business card
Networking does NOT need to be a dirty word. The founder of Networking in Vancouver, Jen Schaeffers, is here to share secrets of strategic networking. This is a supportive space to take your skills from simple small talk to seriously engaging and expand your influence beyond your Whistler circle. Ditch your fears of the dreaded awkward silence and become a confident connector with Jen's networking do's and don'ts including the new piece of the puzzle: netiquette, how to use social media strategically. You'll practice the perfect introduction to form a personal connection within seconds regardless of the audience and learn that opportunity lies everywhere. A game-changing session for everyone from wallflowers to savvy socialites - this is next level networking.
Key takeaways
- Master the art of first impressions
- Say "so-long" to snooze-inducing small-talk
- Be strategic with social networking
