About Us

In the beginning… it was a pretty wild wilderness here. A few early mountain mavericks put down roots, slept in cabins they built with their own hands, watched the skies for the generosity of the snow gods, and hiked whole mountains for the mad thrill of a single run.
It’s at the core of the Whistler experience – that maverick spirit that echoes today in the modern-day village of Whistler. And Crystal Lodge is its stronghold. For more than 30 years, Crystal Lodge has embodied the soul of Whistler. Warm welcome. Fierce independence. And that epic sense of adventure – on bikes and rivers in summer, on ice and snow in winter, and everything in between.
And there’s no doubt that we reside in Whistler’s centre. From the epicentre of the Whistler Village, we are steps to the ski hill. All around us are the restaurants, pubs, shops, and village strolls that Whistler is famous for.
But it’s our generations of mountain memories that capture the alpine spirit of Whistler. We honour the timeless soul of Whistler with a fresh, modern mountain lodge offering. Today, Crystal Lodge stands proudly independent, in the centre of the Village, as a modern tribute to its own proud past.
