Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Small Engine or Automotive/Heavy Duty Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of Machinery and equipment, including but not limited to ATV, SxS, Snowmobiles, automotive, trailers, and Snowcats. As a Fleet Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting engine issues, performing routine maintenance, and completing repairs efficiently and effectively.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose machine problems and determine the appropriate course of action for repair.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and service.
  • Disassemble machines, inspect parts for wear or damage and repair or replace defective components.
  • Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in small engine technology.
 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven Certification and/or experience as a Small Engine, Automotive, or Heavy Equipment Technician.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Knowledge of small engine systems and components.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication with company staff. (private shop no customers)
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies   
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license
