Planner – Ecosign Mountain Resort Planners Ltd., Whistler BC
Ecosign Mountain Resort Planners Ltd. of Whistler, BC, specializes in the planning and design of four-season mountain resorts worldwide. We are seeking a Planner for a full-time, permanent position in our Whistler office.
The successful candidate will assist with research, report writing, proposal preparation and project coordination. Duties include analyzing development regulations and zoning bylaws, preparing presentation graphics and reports, and working with Ecosign’s technical staff to produce plans and maps.
The successful candidate will be a team player and prepared to work in a deadline-oriented office environment. Applicants should have a degree in planning or a related field and be eligible for or registered with the Canadian Institute of Planners. Strong written, analytical, graphic skills, and proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite are required. AutoCAD / GIS experience would be beneficial.
Experience working in the ski industry is an asset, and a personal interest in mountain recreation and snow sports is essential. Ecosign is an employee-owned firm offering opportunities for professional growth.
Initial starting wage will be $38 - $42 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Ecosign also offers staff an additional profit-sharing bonus system based on company performance.
