We’re Hiring! Climbing Instructor/Route Setter
Are you passionate about Rock Climbing and helping others reach their goals? We’re looking for an energetic and motivated Rock Climbing Instructor to join our team!
Pay: $23 - $25 per hour + bonuses & tips
Location: Whistler Core Climbing and Fitness Gym – Whistler, BC
Hours: Part time: 16+ hours per week/Full-time: 32+ hours per week – Mid-day/evening shifts
Start date: Mid-April/May
What You’ll Do:
- Greet and assist members and visitors
- Handle membership inquiries, sign-ups, and customer service tasks
- Assist with front desk operations and administrative duties
- Instruct and supervise climbers of all skill levels
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Plan and lead climbing classes and events
- Route setting
- Ensure a safe and positive workout environment
- General gym maintenance
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications and experience in rock climbing instruction and route setting
- Passion for fitness, health, and helping others succeed
- Customer service experience
- Ability to engage positively with members and guests
