The Crystal Lodge is seeking a motivated and guest-focused Sales Associate to join our Sales & Marketing team. This role plays a key part in supporting the full reservations and sales cycle while delivering exceptional pre-arrival service to our guests.

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Sales Associate works closely with the Sales & Events Coordinator and Revenue Manager to ensure seamless reservations processes, accurate bookings, and strong sales support across all channels.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide a warm, knowledgeable first point of contact for guests, highlighting the benefits of staying at Crystal Lodge

  • Lead all day-to-day reservation processes and ensure booking accuracy across phone, website, GDS, extranets, packages, and rate guarantees

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all room types, amenities, onsite tenants, packages, offers, and hotel policies

  • Act as the key guest liaison from initial inquiry through to arrival and check-in

  • Deliver concierge-style pre-arrival services, including dining, transportation, rentals, and activity recommendations and bookings

  • Manage hotel availability across all distribution channels

  • Support the Reservations Supervisor and Sales & Events Coordinator as required

  • Assist with group business administration, including rooming lists, resumes, BEOs, invoicing, and collections

  • Support business development efforts by generating new leads and growing the group database

  • Coordinate internal meeting requests and complete administrative projects as assigned

  • Support Crystal Lodge’s environmental and sustainability initiatives

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in hotel sales and/or reservations within a medium-sized property

  • Strong customer service and sales background

  • College diploma or equivalent experience

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and contribute to service and revenue improvements

  • Positive, energetic, and results-driven self-starter with a strong work ethic

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities with the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • High attention to detail and sound judgement in problem-solving situations

  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Publisher

  • Experience with hotel systems such as RDP and Inntopia considered an asset

  • Team-oriented, professional, and calm under pressure
