We are currently open in Whistler BC and are on the lookout for a few passionate BARISTAS to join our wonderful group of hardworking, creative, and fun baristas for our Whistler Location.

Ken Shoji and % Arabica are steadfast in bringing this unique, exclusive coffee drinking experience to the entire world.

JOB TITLE: Barista
LOCATION: Whistler, BC
TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Full Time or Part Time

JOB SUMMARY:
>Full-time and part-time shifts available.
>4 to 8 hour shifts.
>Morning, day and evening shifts.
>Holidays and weekends.
>$20 to $23 per hour to start depending on experience.
>Discounted or free food & beverages.
>Store discount on merchandise.
>Flexible schedule to promote work/life balance.

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE:
>Related experience in food and beverage industry (preferably as a barista and/or in a coffee shop) is an asset.
>Passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating a fun and safe environment.
>Hands on experience with brewing equipment.
>Able to create latte art.
>Able to work flexible hours which may include mornings, afternoon, evenings, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
>Prepare and serve food and beverages by adhering to company standards while also delivering exceptional customer service.
>Maintain and handle all equipment.
>Operate the POS (Point of Sales) system and accurately handle cash and credit card payments while following cash handling procedures.
>Assist with clean-up workstations, set up, and restocking.
>Maintain a safe work environment by following company standard operating procedures.

SCHEDULE DETAILS:
Full-time and part-time shifts available.
4 to 8 hour shifts.
Morning, day and evening shifts.
Holidays and weekends.
SALARY / WAGE RANGE:
$20 to $23 per hour to start depending on experience.
