Store Manager

% Arabica (Accencis Management) is part of what the industry calls “third wave” coffee, a movement in coffee marketing emphasizing high quality. Beans are typically sourced from individual farms and roasted more lightly to bring out their distinctive flavors.

We are currently open in Whistler BC and are on the lookout for passionate STORE MANAGER. Ken Shoji and % Arabica are steadfast in bringing this unique, exclusive coffee drinking experience to the entire world. Join our team!

ABOUT THE ROLE, BENEFITS & PERKS:
> Full-time, 40 to 45 hours per week.
> Monday to Friday, on call and weekends as needed.
> Schedule varies with daytime, afternoon and evening shifts.
> $25 to $30 per hour to start depending on experience.
> Tip outs.

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE:
> Related experience in food and beverage industry (preferably as a barista and/or in a coffee shop) is an asset.
> Passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating a fun and safe environment.
> Hands on experience with brewing equipment.
> Able to create latte art.
> Able to work flexible hours which may include mornings, afternoon, evenings, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
> Able to carry up to 50lbs.
> Leadership.
> Planning and execution.
> Scheduling and payroll.
> Inventory management.
> Ability to do Latte Art.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
> Prepare and serve food and beverages by adhering to company standards while also delivering exceptional customer service.
> Maintain and handle all equipment
> Operate the POS (Point of Sales) system and accurately handle cash and credit card payments while following cash handling procedures.
> Assist with clean-up workstations, set up, and restocking.
> Maintain a safe work environment by following company standard operating procedures.
> Creating schedules, coaching the team.
> Cash handling.
> Roasting coffee.
